Using Valuable Contact Information For Follow-Up Tools After A Webinar
Published by Stephen Beck

After you have held a webinar, you need some good solid follow up strategies to target the folks who did not make a decision to buy your product or service right away. This is relatively easy with the tools of a webinar.

Webinars make follow up super easy! They allow you to collect full contact information. You can call the non-buyers on the phone. Personal contact is great; especially for those who had a specific question that you did not have time to answer while you were on the webinar. These are the first people I call. I have a perfect excuse to call them. I can tell them that I am sorry I did not have time to answer their question on the live webinar, but I would be happy to answer it now. Then I can ask them if they want to buy my product.

Your phone calls can be live or they can be automated. To save you time, you can make a recording of yourself and use an automated program to call them for you. A fax is another option of something you can do once you have their contact info.

Webinars can be an especially helpful tool when you send direct mail. Because direct mail can get expensive, you only want to send it to those that are interested. And luckily for you, you already know that the people you are sending it to are interested because they have attended your webinar. They have already taken the time out of their busy day to listen to what you have to say.

Follow up after a webinar can be more effective than after any other type of sales pitch. This is because webinars are a tool that allow you to pre-qualify your contacts before you do any type of promotions. Any of these tools have the potential to be more effective after a webinar when you know that the people you are contacting have a much higher level of interest than the general public.
